Por área

Where to thrift, region by region

San Juan Metro

Santurce, Calle Loíza and Río Piedras hold the island's densest run of vintage clothing, curated secondhand racks and weekend pop-ups. Electroshock and Vice Versa sit two blocks apart on Calle Loíza, Aleatorio is on Paseo de Diego in Río Piedras, and Ammï is off Avenida San Patricio. Se hace a pie en una tarde.

El Oeste

Mayagüez, Rincón and Aguadilla move slower and cheaper. In Mayagüez Pueblo, Tropi Trades and Viste Slow are four doors apart on Calle Méndez Vigo — secondhand basics next to slow-fashion and vintage. Vale el viaje si vas temprano.
