Thrift Stores in Condado & Old San Juan
Condado and Old San Juan are not where you go for a bargain. They are where you go for consignment and designer resale — well-kept pieces, priced accordingly, in shops that are easy to reach if you are staying in the tourist corridor.
If you are visiting Puerto Rico and only have one afternoon, we would still send you to Santurce. If you are already here, these are the stops worth your time.

What this area is good for
Handbags, shoes, occasion wear and labels. Condition is generally excellent because most inventory arrives through consignment rather than donation.
What to skip
Anything sold as 'vintage-inspired'. Real vintage exists here, but so does new stock styled to look old at a resale price.
Getting around
Old San Juan is walkable but parking is a project — use a garage. Condado is a straight shot from Santurce along Ashford.
